HEAT Raffle Run 2012

We will run for 40 minutes around a 1/2 mile block. Each time you pass the start/finish line you’ll receive a raffle ticket. The more laps you run, the more raffle tickets you earn. After 40 minutes, we’ll move into the store and raffle off the prizes.

HMF Courthouse O'Putnam 5kHMF’s newest O’ race is well worth the drive to the northeast corner of Connecticut! The race starts and finishes in picturesque downtown Putnam. The 5K is a loop course along the river. Finish in front of the Courthouse Bar & Grille, where the post-race party tops off your Irish celebration. COSTUMES ENCOURAGED!

Putnam, CT is perhaps the jewel of New England antique shopping destinations.  Historical details and slices of true Americana combine with many wonderful antiques shops to create a special, quintessential New England town with a ton of personality. Plan to spend race afternoon exploring all the unique nooks and crannies with great eateries and shops throughout the town.

Savin Rock Marathon & Half @ Savin Rock Conference Center

Savin Rock Marathon and Half sponsored by the Shoreline SharksFrom 2004-2010 years this race was run as The Shoreline Sharks Half Marathon. The race was renamed in 2011, honoring the great venue that we have. Since 2011 this race is open to ALL! This is just too good to keep to ourselves! Roads will be closed and The Savin Rock Conference Center is open for registration, bathrooms (plus porto-lets), awards, food, etc.

Our 5th Annual Savin Rock event will include the Half Marathon and for the first time a Marathon! (2 Loops.) We are offering a 2 person RELAY option for the Marathon too! (The relay exchange is at the Half Marathon point, at the start/finish.
The race will be held on Saturday March 21, 2015 at 8:00am.
About 1/3 of the course is along Long Island Sound.
Aid stations every 2 miles beginning at Mile 2.5 stocked with Poland Spring Water, Gatorade & GU.
The Savin Rock Conference Center hosts registration, bathrooms (plus porto-lets), awards, etc. Plenty of parking.
Transponder Timing and Results plus your friends and family can track your progress on Facebook and Twitter as you cross miles 7.5, 13.1, 20.5 and 26.2. Results emailed to you right after the race.
Hot Pasta, Salad and bread Post-race.
Great Goodie-Bags and tech shirts (male and female cut.)
Custom finisher medals & custom awards to the top 3 in every division and Overall Winners.
*Shirts, Medals and Awards will be different for the Marathon and Half Marathon.
*Marathon Relay: Both runners will get shirts, medals and goodies.

Time cutoffs:
Half Marathon = 3:30
Marathon = 6:30

HMF Harvard Pilgrim Middletown Half and Legends 4MThe Harvard Pilgrim Middletown Half starts and finishes on Middletown’s Main Street, selected as “the most romantic Main Street in the U.S.” by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. This artful Main Street is brimming with swanky restaurants, cool bars, an award-winning local chocolatier, a delectable cupcake bakery and much more.

And we’ve added the Legends 4-Mile run so we have a distance for every runner! A post-race, street party with local food and drink caps off a great race in a great place.

Simsbury River Run 5K and 10KFor 20 years the Simsbury-Granby Rotary Club has sponsored The River Run 5K and 10K races. And what a great run it has been for all of the participants and the community. 2015 is no exception and with your help we can continue this great Simsbury tradition. All proceeds from the River Run go to college scholarships for local Simsbury and Granby High School seniors as well as other great causes.

We are excited to announce that the registration area will again be at Simsbury Meadows next to the Rotary Park Playground and that both races will start and finish on Iron Horse Boulevard.
