600 yd swim | 12 mile road bike | 3.1 mile road run
The Lake T Sprint Series is an opportunity for every level triathlete to train, compete, and have a blast!! Racks are first come, first serve, waves are male/female, and there is a relay division available.
The 600 yard lake swim is followed by a 2 loop bike course with rolling hills. The 5K run course has a few small inclines. Aid is available on the bike and the run.
Day of Race Registration $30.00
Relay Registration is $40.00.
Race starts at 6:15pm at Blish Park, Marlborough, CT.

Our Tuesday night tradition continues throughout the summer here at Winding Trails. The Tri Series consists of a 1/4-mile swim in warm Dunning Lake, a 5 mile trail ride (hybrid or mountain bikes only), and a 5k trail run through our beautiful woods. All ability levels are invited & encouraged to come train/race in this fun family friendly environment. Now more spectator friendly than ever! Swim in spring fed Lake Quassapaug, challenging bike around lake, out and back run. Great ‘strength’ course, the date makes it ideal for those triathletes preparing for longer races. The Mystic Sharkfest will be a 1500 meter swim from Middle Wharf at Mystic Seaport, down the Mystic River and under the famous Bascule drawbridge to finish at Dock D at Seaport Marine next to Red 36 Restaurant. This swim will give you the perfect excuse to visit a classic New England seaport on Long Island Sound. The swim course will take you past the fully restored whaling ship, Charles Morgan and around the Mystic Harbor lighthouse and down river through the picturesque village. Don’t miss the opportunity to explore this small town that is steeped in shipbuilding history. Mystic Seaport is the nation’s leading maritime museum. Its collections and exhibits include over 500 historic watercraft, a major research library, a large gallery of maritime art, a unique diorama displaying the town of Mystic as it was in the 19th century, a ship restoration shipyard, the Treworgy Planetarium, and a re-creation of a 19th-century seafaring village. You will also want to visit the Mystic Aquarium where you can actually pet the sharks…the perfect conclusion to your Sharkfest weekend.
PLEASE NOTE: This swim is not for novices. This event is for experienced open-water swimmers only. You should be able to swim one mile comfortably in a pool in under 40 minutes.
